The brief was to attract Marketing executives on the client side. We had to explain quite a complicated concept but still keep the Yoobic fun factor that we gained from the previous video (even though it had to be for a more mature audience).
We came up with the idea of comparing the launch of a new product to a theatre performance. The similarities between the two are endless, including the fact that whatever work is done beforehand, the reviews of people will always be based on the result.
The animation was based around using theatrical tricks to explain how Yoobic helps brands keep an eye on what's happening in their multiple retail outlets around the globe.
By subtly using the characters we created in the previous video as helpers, we tried to simplify and explain this complicated concept.
